OK. I really want the easy fix and just change to the recommended hotter plug. I don't want to have to drill into my carb to get to the mixture screw, so after Barbara's and Justin's last post, I'm going slightly hotter plug. Let me understand this. If the bike is running just a little too rich, a hotter plug will burn more fuel thereby correcting the rich mixture coming from the carb correct? Does that make sense? or does it make more sense to correct the carb setting in the first place? Help, I'm sooooo confused! Maybe I should just restore the main jet back to normal and leave the white spacer out.
